We decided to give it a try despite hearing from friends that it has been declining recently. I’m giving an extra star for the great prices. The selection is decent—nothing exceptional by big city standards, but still satisfactory. They do seem to keep a close eye on things to ensure that items don’t run out. However, the desserts and salads are quite unremarkable. They offer some standard sushi rolls, but nothing particularly impressive. The highlight of the experience is definitely the stir fry option, where you can fill your plate with raw ingredients and hand it over for them to cook in front of you, choosing from a variety of sauces to finish it off. Considering we visited on a Monday night around 7 PM, I was quite impressed. There was a decent variety of food and sushi, although the selection of desserts was limited. While the food wasn't particularly fresh, it was still tasty and enjoyable. The sushi, on the other hand, was very fresh. I imagine it would be even better on a busier night, but I liked that we had the place to ourselves. The service was good and the music was pleasant as well.
The food here is excellent—definitely the best buffet in Muskoka! Although my photos don’t do it justice, the sushi, noodles, and ribs were all incredibly flavorful. This has become my favorite spot for a fantastic buffet in Muskoka!
