The service from the waiter was unfriendly and the quality of the food was very disappointing. Additionally, they charged extra for rice, $3.50 for a small serving. Overall, I would rate this restaurant as 0 stars if possible. The waiter's attitude was poor and the food was not enjoyable. Additionally, they charged separately for rice, $3.50 for a small portion. My wife had a horrible experience with this restaurant! Ordered takeout, one Pu pu platter and one egg roll. Pu pu platter was burned while the egg roll wasn’t fresh and old tasting. When she called to complain, the answering attendant said he could not help her and to ”go to another restaurant!” I was livid after hearing this response and I’m looking to do anything necessary to get my money back!!!!!
I love this restaurant, but I don't understand why Jeffrey, the person who takes orders, automatically assumes that customers are lying about tipping. This has happened to me before, and as someone who works in the service industry and tips every time, I don't appreciate the animosity. Maybe it's time to find another Chinese restaurant in Cambridge.
Today, I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The person who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful when I called to place my order. The food took almost two hours to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and incorrect. I will definitely not be ordering from this restaurant again. Book a table now
I eat chinese 4 times a week and this place is 2 times lol, the staff is a little stressed but plesent, orange chicken , house rice, boneless ribs tell thwm Biz sent you. Wheelchair accessibility: Big door, and a huge dinning area.
Great place to come and grab something to eat in Harvard Square restaurant on the first floor Lounge on the 2nd and Nightclub in dancing on the 3rd floor...
This place is a little messy, but thats the point of why you come to HK Restaurant. Prices and services are solid, food is great.
