We were eating there on 03.10.21. We cannot recommend the restaurant; and will not come back. prices are favourable; the food is infallible; only carvings and Rumpsteak as well as 1 wild dish except the row. The meat was good, but that was all. The salad (field salad) was so small that I would call it a salad set. As a supplement, there are only Pommes, the thin, cheaper at the metro. At Jägerschnitzel we imagined a mushroom cream sauce, so we usually know it. But there was only a thin roast sauce with red wine taste and mushrooms. There's nothing for vegetarians. Boring, inconvenient. Then I prefer to pay a little more and have the appropriate enjoyment during the meal. At the end we ordere...
I have been regularly a guest in the honey mill beer garden in summer and have never been disappointed. You can also connect the visit very nicely with a small hike along Wetzbach along Nauborn. Very recommended for dog owners. The staff is always very friendly, courteous and helpful, the food is very delicious and always freshly prepared. The salads are also highly recommended. But whoever did so. Haute Cuisine expects and does not like a good bourgeois German cuisine, is missing here. There are very good food and drink at affordable prices. The beer garden is very nice, the place is more rustic, but cozy.
It's a small, rustic outing place. Inside only one handful of tables, next to it a beautiful shady beer garden, all around only well-kept green. The map is of course manageable, but you don't expect more to be able. The food is prepared with attention to detail, so it should. The host is very nice and friendly. Anyone who likes to sit in the secluded green will be fully at his expense. Five stars for location, service, preparation, kindness. How nice that there is something like that! We look forward to the next time!
The restaurant and the beer garden are very nice, the restaurant has not only changed the facility for 50 years or more (which I find good), but the food is generally not particularly important. Last time, it was even completely desalinated, our comment was that the operation was disinterested and, almost without responding to it or even offering something else. Too bad. That gave us the feeling of not being appreciated as guests, and that's why we have little desire to go back there.

We were already very often in the honey mill, the food tastes very good. The price/performance ratio is good and reasonable. In summer the beer garden attracts with its shaded corners, but also the winter months in the restaurant are delightful. We always like to go there and have never been disappointed. The dishes of the changing daily ticket are always recommended.
We met with friends in the restaurant for dinner. The food was good. The geese were cooked exactly to the point. Also the supplements were good and matched to the gooses (bone, red cabbage, rose cabbage apple). The service was very friendly and made suggestions on request. The facility is unfortunately very old and rustic. Some things are very need for renovation.
We were on a hike and are in the honey mill and asked for a glass of water. We were told, please leave the host room we have a closed company afterwards. You can put it outside under the umbrella and rest, but I can't give you a water. We stopped under the umbrella for half an hour. There was no guest of the closed society. Thanks for the hospitality.
A beautiful restaurant, not cold and sterile, but cozy with many small details here you can feel the history of the last year's candles. The cook is an absolute master of his subject, here you get delicious great food. The waitress is really very friendly and very warm!
