If you’re anything like me and appreciate good friendly service then this place is NOT where you will find it. The head waiter (or at least appears to be) is RUDE, doesn’t smile, say thank you or even hello! I asked for a table outside, he gestured at me to wait as if I was bothering him! When we eventually got a seat, he took our order, again as if I was bothering him! No smile, nothing. I also ordered a beer which didn’t arrive, had to ask another waiter who eventually brought it over. Food was dry and over cooked. I don’t like slamming a restaurant, but when it’s as bad as this, I can’t in good conscience stay quiet. Our first time at this restaurant was because little else was open early in the season frankly the food was OK. The seafood platter was good. My Choco was tolerable. We had friends visit so we have it another try. The seafood grill was not edible. It tasted old. The 2 pizzas we ordered one with special sauce) were the worst pizzas any of us had ever attempted. They never even asked if there was something wrong as they took away 3 dishes uneaten. We said we didn’t want to pay as the food was bad, they insisted as we had already taken bites of the food. Come on guys, fellow tourists, think you are being a little unkind and your food radars are out of kilter. This restaurant is a complete gem, the quality of the seafood in excellent. Engage with the staff and you will always get a positive response. Our visit was excellent on every level. Great food, great informative service smiles from the kitchen and big smiles from us the customers. Traditional and a complete delight to eat at.
We had diner yesterday with Honorato’s. We had Lulas and espetada de Camerao e tamboril. The tamboril was very hard and dry. The camerao was to burned, so the espatada was not so good. The lulas was a ok, but we had better ones in other restaurants. The staff was more interested in talking to young girls instead of serving the guests. Also check the bill when you get is. They had put extra drinks on the bill that we did not order. Book a table now
It says it opens at 6 on the door, 6.30 on their website and when we arrived at 7.00 they were still closed and wrapping up cutlery. When we asked what time they were opening we got a shrug and a 'maybe 30 minutes ' response. Dont bother theres lots of other good places to eat and the staff aren 't rude.
The food is average but the service is not very polite. We finished our main course and the waiter came fast with the bill. We didn't have time or chance to decide for desert or coffee (which is mandatory in Portugal).
Popped in for lunch. Pizza- it was like a thin pastry base that was so thin and hard I gave up ! Not one of the waiters smiled nor did they offer desserts or coffee. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend

Worst restaurant in Village. Served us codfish in poor condition and don’t even asked us why we didnt eat it. Maybe they knew why!!!
