I visited Hook Real for my son’s 17th birthday, and it was a great experience. Our server, Keyera, was fantastic—friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. All the servers were pleasant, including one gentleman with an earring who smiled at me as we were leaving, which I truly needed. Although we were celebrating my son's birthday, it was a bittersweet occasion as my husband, the father of my children, had passed away the night before. Our Waitress was personable and tipped well, however food wasn't great and the owner was rude. We had a reservation and they didn't even acknowledge it, I was charged $12 and it was supposed to be added to final bill and they told me they don't acknowledge the deposit and I need to dispute with my bank. $12 isn't a lot BUT it's the principal. Drinks were overpriced.
Food tasted great. Didn't mind the noise, but not happy with the service. Long time for server to come to table and to come back to table. Didn't like the plastic ware, paper plates and them being skimpy with their small napkins.
Nice atmosphere and food was okay. The waitress seem new was passing food over my guests heads but she was nice. Drinks were on point and strong three thumbs up for the drinks.

I had a party of 20, and although there was only one waitress, she did an excellent job. I will definitely go back again. The food was great as well!
It was ok , the music selection could’ve been better. As far as the food I had the seafood boil could’ve had more sauce than was given . It was ok.
Terrible experience. The bathroom smells gross? Waiter took for Dr and they gave us paper plates to eat on…why is this place still open?
Our server was good, but could have been better and I attribute that to her doing a dual role. She was bartender and server.

The staff was fantastic, but unfortunately, the black mussels and oysters were not fresh at all and had a rancid odor.
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere To top it iff our service was gest as well and my daughter enjoyed her bday dinner!
