The food here is absolutely fantastic! The service is excellent, too. I tend to be a bit picky, but the staff—including bartender Aaron, manager Shannon, and my waitress—went out of their way to understand my preferences so they could accommodate my requests perfectly. And they delivered! The food quality was impressive, served at the ideal temperature, and arrived at the right time. We’ll definitely be back. We tried the hush puppies (which I thought were great, considering my pickiness), the fried calamari that was well worth the price, and the seafood, which was fresh and delicious. I'm really glad this place is in our neighborhood!
Came to this location for the first time and my server was sweet, but i guess because they were closing we weren't getting the best service, once we got our food we had asked for our drinks twice and then asked for them again towards the end, the bartender told our server that the bar was closed and the ticket got lost. Did the ticket get lost or are you just trying to leave faster?? I understand because I work at a restaurant but on a Monday night when there is 3 tables in the restaurant you cant get bar glasses and mix 2 drinks??? make it make sense. For my first time at this location the experience was disgusting
This restaurant truly exceeded our expectations! We arrived with a group of over 60 people after a lacrosse game, and the staff was friendly and highly efficient. They took our orders accurately and our food was served quickly. Every dish we tried was delicious! Our waiter, Chris, was fantastic—he ensured that our orders were correct and delivered swiftly. He was attentive and very pleasant throughout our visit. I highly recommend this place; it's clean, organized, and the food is outstanding. Having dined at various crab boils, I can confidently say this one ranks among the best!
Today was my first time at hook and reel!! The atmosphere was amazing !! I love that TouchTunes is available so I can choose my own tunes.The happy hour is out of this world !! The fact that it’s 2-7 pm!! The voodoo lemonade drink was my favorite!! It had all the right ingredients!!The whole five stars goes to Andre the bartender he has so much personality, happiness and passion. He’s a hard worker also, he really was doing the bar and tables. I will be back just to see him. Thank you for a great time !!

Our server was incredibly friendly, and with very few other customers, the atmosphere was peaceful and enjoyable. We ordered quite a bit of food, and even the manager came over to chat with us and offered some delicious sauces to accompany our meals. Unfortunately, we couldn't take any leftovers home because we couldn't keep them cold.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I really enjoy eating with my hands when I'm at home, so it was great to do the same in public. They provide plastic gloves and aprons to keep your clothes clean from any sauce splatter while you eat. The special Hook Reel sauce is absolutely delicious; I'll definitely be coming back for it again and again. The prices are very reasonable for what you get!
I love this restaurant! This was my first time dining at this location and by far I received the best service here. My waitress Shakirah took care of me and my party and the service I received was excellent. She was so attentive and personable. She was friendly, funny, and most of all made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask.
This place is great! I’ve had boil before where it’s over cooked but this place is perfect every time. Also Mercedes, is awesome! She’s very truthful and informative about the menu options and always makes sure you have a drink in front of you!
