This is my father and brother to watch sports games. I am with them on many occasions and have found the service and food to be pleasant and fairly healthy for a bar and barbecue! The interior seat area is not huge, but a decent size. They have an outdoor terrace with plenty of seating and there are parasols for most tables. I can imagine that it is a pleasant area to sit for the warm summer nights. It is also nice that it is not as loud as the interior seat area. The last two times I ordered a salad called Steak and Bleu cheese. I really found it full and pretty healthy. The waiting staff was always friendly and attentive. There are many parking spaces, as it is located in a shopping center...
The service was great! I was appalled that they charged full price for refills of ice tea and sodas. Our bill for 4 people was $44.00 for refills of sodas and ice tea with 4 basic burgers for at total of $89.00. If you are charging for refills that should be stated and just tacked on the bill. Alcoholic beverages are a different charge BUT simple ice tea and coke refills should be no additional charge unless stated.
My steak salad was good and my friend said her fish and chips were also very good. Service was attentive and though it was busy, never felt as if they were trying to rush us. We sat on patio. At 5:30 it was noisy due to many families with kids. Kids well behaved just noisy. Nice, though, to see families out and about.
Very cheerful and attentive server (marie) and care general manager. Order spinach salad with chicken breast. Portion was sufficient but the chicken was missing taste and the presentation was missing. Nevertheless, the ambience was pleasant and I come back...

Nothing better than unwinding with some local craft brews. Hop Yard is always a great time. Staff is super friendly and the food is awesome. We tend to visit the San Ramon location more often as it’s a bit closer to us but both spots are pretty badass.
Fun place to go with a group of friends. Service is great. Food is hit and miss. I have been going here since 2008. The crowds seemed to have tapered off. Could be time for a remodel of the place.
To lick my lips... Blackened Salmon Ceaser Salad was delicious... large portion size and the salmon was perfectly cooked. Great place to stop in the area...
Decent food, nice ambience, plenty of parking, reasonable prices, plenty of beer choices. Pretty safe choice for a meal or watching a football game.

Mediocre food. I ordered the burger. Way overpriced. $19 for a burger?!?! Also, could swear it was a Costco frozen patty and bun. Not coming back.
A cozy weekday afternoon here at the bar. Not full. A good selection of beers and a few wine choices. Good place to relax.
