Fan of Hopleaf for years! You have a deep selection of beer and good food! Eat: Try everything the menu is delicious. I had an article I didn't love Beers: deep selection of beers. Braised Endive was the highlight of the meal, it was very tasteful and surprisingly fulfilling. The part of the shells is on the small side, it is fresh, but a little under seasoned, and the frits are soggy. Great service! Very attentive and friendly. Love atmosphere too!
I've listened to Michael Roper talk about Hopleaf and beer for years, dreaming of going there. Finally, today, I made it. I had nothing but high expectations, and yet, still, my expectations were smashed with an even-better-than-I-could've-imagined experience.
Best Belgian beer selection in the city, on top of an already impressive selection, and in my experience and opinion, the best frites and mussels. First time being on the patio which was perfect and reminiscent of a cafe or brasserie overseas. Book a table now
Had the fried chicken sandwich and a draft cider and both were really good! The service was friendly and really quick for being moderately busy and I liked the decor in the restaurant as well. Will come back!
