great place to celebrate, drink and revenge. the personal could be better to maintain the ladies' room. I came around 12 o'clock on a Sunday and the toilet paper was in a stall, which means that it did not happen in the night before, or on the morning before it opened, and it was still empty at 15 o'clock. they didn't fill it between 12 and 3 because I checked the stall. PROS: This place was a very unique bar to go to. It had games, a lionel train that circles the place, a country theme to it, and more TVs than a usual bar its size. The staff was very nice and they kept the place clean. For a bar they had a good amount on the menu and many draft beers to choose from. CONS: Like many places in town there isn't a whole lot of parking for it. The bathroom could also be jammed since it can only accommodate a couple people compared to the amount the bar normally takes in. OVERALL: Definitely a bar I'm planning on going back to. Minor setbacks won't stop me from enjoying lunch here while I watch a game on one of their many TVs.
Went for a comedy show. That was great! Food was phenomenal (I had short rib lasagna, but others I was with said the wings, burger and loaded tots were great as well). Price for food and drinks was way under what I expected for Morristown, so that was an added plus. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because as soon as the comedy show was over, and you were still sitting there with a drink, it turned into a club scene (sorry, not my music) in the same upstairs space. I give them a 5 for Value and quality of Food. Great value for happy hour. The chicken wings were the best I've had, nice tender meat, the dry rub was great. Had the cowboy steak twice and very good, although thinner cut, price is worth it. 6 people in our party, had cowboy steak, Drunken chicken, Ruben sandwiches, Ribs. Everyone loved their meals. I have be here twice and will be going back.
You know the frat bros that frequent your place please try to make it a safer spot as I have seen in other reviews this is not the first review concerning spiked drinks and rowdy men, as a friend of mines drink was spiked last weekend please do better. on Thursday, 23rd, amazing movie, stopped to top gun amc to see, and the horse hoe tavern was the right place for us. we had the slider, the cauliflower tacco and the wings and they were all not disappointed. I mentioned the date because our server has worked effortlessly for everyone on site and with a smile.
Food is bad. I wouldn't order anything here to eat. Beer selection is okay, they can do better if they tried. Atmosphere is a lot of fun thou.
