The environment was beautiful. The food was good and beautifully presented. The single waiter explained every course and was clearly a well-trained and highly experienced waiter who ensured we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, because he was the lone waiter, the time between each course was lengthy. It was an hour before we were served our starter. All in all we were at our table for over three hours. We don't mind waiting for freshly cooked food, but an hour's wait for our starter was too long.

The portion size was verging on American, and a three course meal will fill pretty much anyone up. Service was discreet and pretty efficient. Will definitely be returning.

we had a fabulous time in this beautiful romantic environment. the employees were cordial and very welcoming, eating and service was excellent, and we had a big talk about frankly with monsieur matthias (hotel chef) and a beautiful herrn. overall it was a whole experience, and I would definitely recommend.
eating was breathtaking the best in gourdon by far! the dining room was immaculately clean and really elegant. fabulous and very fair weeping list. the service was impeccable. I'm looking forward to my next visit and the next and the next!
