Our party of four was staying at the Chateau St Sabine, in a neighbouring village a few kilometres from Chateauneuf. We had finished our multii-course Sunday luncheon at 16:00 and had decided to give dinner a miss and drive to Chateauneuf for a nightcap. We arrived shortly before 21:00. Hostelry du Chateau was the only place open. The intended glass of wine was followed by an amazing dinner of regional specialities and superb desserts. The restaurant courtyard was full of diners all enjoying the great food and service. A truly memorable evening at prices which were a fraction of the cost of meals we had having for the past week. Highly recommended for delicious French soul food
Very well located and original establishment, it is worth a visit to the castle. The staff is very smiling, available and attentive. We slept in a pleasant and very clean room, with an excellent bedding. varied buffet breakfast and good quality. The restaurant is essential because the dishes are original and tasty. friendly staff. quiet hotel in a beautiful village. single and clean room. deserves a decorative refresh while keeping the spirit of the building. Breakfast very well. Too bad the garden isn't the object of more attention, it could become bucolic. no advice on dinner not taken at the establishment.
A lovely lunch in a very pretty courtyard. The menu had a wide selection of small and large meals available. My smoked salmon with salad was delicious, and the perfect light lunch (accompanied by a chilled glass of white wine)

Magnificent establishment, close to the castle, spartata rooms but with undeniable charm. A very good price ratio. A perfect service with charming people by their smile and the quality of their service. Bravo
