Off the beaten path David, found this incredible airy gastronomic restaurant, that has vaulted ceilings, country style furnishings and serves gourmet Mediterranean cuisine. There's also a dining terrace with umbrella-shaded tables, and a wine cellar overlooking the Main Street and school. This restaurant is owner...operated and probably has 14 tables. It’s a bit far from Monaco but worth the extra effort in coordinating a private car. As you enter the restaurant you enter through a courtyard and take a flight of stairs to find this quaint airy, vaulted ceiling restaurant with the option of sitting outside on the balcony. this restaurant was recommended by freinds in monaco. we went there in august and had a table on the terrace with views of the mediterans who took on themselves. Although the restaurant was full, the service was impeccable. we had the choice. two menus or a la carte and preferred to chose a la carte, because we don't want to, 7 or 12 menus. eating was amazing. I had one of the best raviolis a la truffe and loved the shares of mostelle de roche dore. this restaurant deserves very well its 2 michelin stars.
wonderful eating, very relaxed and special evening. this is a Michelin star restaurant, and it really deserves every star. charming staff that seems to be happy what they are doing and who wouldn't it be if you make such delicious food? I can make a comment. eating is clever and error-free but the plates look a bit scattered and clumsy. other restaurants of this kalibers present the eating in a superior wise much more pleasant on the eye. that said charming restaurant!
superlative eating with an excellent wine list in a fascinating location in the hills over monaco, just a short drive from nizza. Just order the tasting menu, choose her wein, then sit back and enjoy it .
