This place has been on my bucket list for Lao food and it did NOT disappoint. It was soooo Good! Me and my mom really enjoyed it and ate every last bite. I ordered house fried rice with chicken wings as well as papaya salad. I don't remember the name ofthe dish my mom ordered but I'll add a picture and it was all delicious. We shared everything of course. The staff were verynice. The cook even came out to see if she made the lao papaya salad too spicy lol. She could have easily added 3 more chili'sfor our taste buds but it was perfect. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Can't wait to return and try more! I also bought abamboo rice cooker for sticky rice! $12.
I would like to express my gratitude to Mimi for recommending this restaurant in Atlanta. It is a lovely and cozy place with great staff and outstanding customer service. I called ahead to place an order, but after speaking with someone on the phone, I decided to dine in instead. When I arrived, I was unable to eat immediately, but the waitress was understanding and patient. I ordered the best chicken wings and the fried rice was delicious. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for the excellent service, and keep up the great work. This restaurant is a 5 out of 5 in my book.
This was my first time visiting Hot Cafe and eating Shrimp Pho. Omg! I will come back knowing it's not that far from work and try new menu items. The staff was so welcoming and the food was fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant was clean and undernew management. Although eating was actually hot, the name deceives. I was invited to eat here and thought it was an American diner atmosphere. whatever. it is Thai cuisine. my immediate thought was everything on the menu has been a ghostly one, but that was not the case either. I don't know all Thai foods. So I order lardna because it was a nude soup with huh and without the heat. in the words of my 2 years old granddaughter. slurp nummy nummy D-Lish. Book a table now
I really enjoy a restaurant that serves hot food, especially soups. I came here for lunch and wasn't sure about the new menu, but we decided to order our favorite appetizers: chicken wings, Laos sausage, jerky, and spicy papaya salad with a side of sticky rice. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. I would recommend coming back here again. I also plan to return to try some of the other menu items.
I always come to this restaurant for their sticky rice and I always leave satisfied. I usually take it to go and eat it on the train as a quick finger food. The rice is cooked perfectly and doesn't stick together too much. The sausage is crispy, not greasy, and cut into bite-sized pieces. I can't wait to try more items on the menu. The service has also improved since the last owner.
I highly recommend this restaurant! The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. The chicken fried rice is outstanding, cooked to perfection. The pork belly with spinach and garlic brown sauce is also a must-try. The Pho is amazing as well. This is a very family-friendly establishment.
