Wir waren anlässlich eines Besuchs in Münster abends im Hot Jazz Club bei einem Rockkonzert. Das Lokal liegt im Souterrain am Mittelhafen und bietet gutbürgerliche und italienische Küche (wie im darüber liegenden Cafe Med). Die Getränkepreise sind absolut in Ordnung, der Wein (Chardonnay) wirklich nicht schlecht und das Essen (Fisch und Rindersteak) lecker. Auf Grund von Koorindinationsschwierigkeiten zwischen Küche und Service warteten wir etwa eine Stunde auf unser Essen, wurden aber ohne Nachfrage durch Gratisgetränke entschädigt.Die Location fanden wir absolut witzig, wir fühlten uns in unsere Studentenzeiten zurückversetzt.Gerne sind wir demnächst wieder da.
Visited for the first time for the Doyle Bramhall II session followed three days later with Mccarthy & Koch. The club is located directly on the Canal in the Hafen area and has ample outside seating. The music sessions to place in a spacious cellar bar. There is limited seating available predominantly for those having a meal. A low ceiling promotes a good acoustic effect and overall atmosphere. Caio us red wines available, good quality and reasonably priced. A special mention to the staff who despite being busy remained friendly, polite, helpful and talkative throughout. I will most certainly go back. Great place!
A nice and genuine basement jazz club and bar, with small stage area for artists (view the listings, they play many kinds of music), dance floor, some seating, full bar. The decor is to the theme, style is rather rough but also charming in a way. Catering to the student crowd, drinks are on the inexpensive side (but are quite all right), and service may take a minute longer.A nice spot for evening or night visit with friend or friends, especially if the program suits you.
Als ich am Freitag(!)abend mit meinen Freunden dort feiern wollte, haben sie und erst fünf Euro Eintritt abgeknöpft, nur um dann ungefähr eine halbe Stunde später alle Leute rauszuschmeißen. Das war der teuerste Toilettengang meines Lebens und ich finde es echt frech, dass man uns weder vorgewarnt noch zumindest für einen geringeren Einheitspreis hineingehen lassen hat.Nicht zu empfehlen, würde nicht mehr dorthin gehen.

Sehr netter Laden mit gutem Live- Programm! Auch ein spontaner Besuch lohnt aufgrund des guten Essens, welches aus dem benachbarten Restaurant "geliefert" wird.
Sunday afternoon, good live music, delicious coffee and cakes and/or beer and wine. Later there is also warm food. Very relaxed and very beautiful!
The Hot-Jazz Club is one of the pubs and local Münsters! There are super concerts, improvisations or the like every year.
Super schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, Getränke waren sehr lecker und eine schöne Atmosphäre, immer wieder gern.
