Everything was absolutely delicious! Taste and everything. I ordered the small oxen tail plate and it was delicious, the curtains were on point and the rice was perfectly cooked. I also ordered the Mac and cheese that was 10/10. The sweet potato cake was good, but nothing revolutionary... back to the oxtail and the reasons I could not give a 5-star rating... There were bone fragments and splinters over which it was very difficult to eat and enjoy. I often had oxtail before and never experienced it like that... Maybe it's just a fuke or something, but it def has taken off the overall experience. Also for the price to get only 4 pieces of meat, although they were meaty, was also a little disap...

If you’re ever in the Capital District and craving delicious Jamaican food, be sure to check out Hotspot. Their menu offers a wide variety of tasty dishes, and they even have daily specials crafted by the chef. I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the fact that the food feels like home-cooked meals. You'll find unique items here, like rasta pasta and jerk chicken fried rice, which are hard to find at other places. What I love most about this restaurant is that everything is made fresh daily, and they cater to your every need.

I ordered the chicken rasta pasta at this restaurant. The portion was small and very greasy. It was nothing special and definitely not worth the $18.00. The Jamaican rum cake was very dry. I believe this establishment should be closed down. This was my first and last time spending my money at this so-called Jamaican restaurant.

I absolutely love their food; they serve some of the best Caribbean cuisine in Albany. I could enjoy their jerk chicken every single day. The only downside is that it can be a bit spicy, but paired with the plantains and a Jamaican soda to balance it out, it's a fantastic experience. You can't go wrong! Book a table now

Yeah Mon! LOL The restaurant seems hidden in space but trust me Rasta; All The food is delicious and that Curry Chicken goes down hot big Up vincent Mon!. My only suggestion is Vincent; you have to find a way to bring food out quickly; you CANNOT have Customers waiting for 30 minutes.

Customer service skills sucks. I was on the phone for about 15 minutes putting in a simple order. Arrived, paid for my food and than was told I had to pay more money. The lady handed me my bag to put my own stuff in it. The food was alright but the customer service wasn't.....

This restaurant is fantastic. Although the wait can be longer than expected, it's definitely worth it. Be sure to check out the dishes featured in the New York Post; they're superb. Overall, it's a great spot to dine!
