What not to like? the restaurant is decorated in a simple traditional Swiss style, the service is professional and attentive, so you really feel comfortable. The food was amazing, the menu was extensive and detailed with too much to choose. the food quality... and the present was great, I couldn't mistake the standard. Wine was good, with a large selection. I'd probably eat here again.
The hotel is not in the main part of the village but we think it has the best restaurant currently. The menu has some of the traditional Swiss Valais dishes (eg a fantastic cheese fondue) but also super quality steak dishes (hot stone) and a...good fixed daily menu
We had 2 dinners at the Hotel Cristal restaurant and both were delicious. St-Valentin special 3 course was excellent and surprising. The second dinner I had the Salmon Teriyaki with leeks noodles, the tastes went very well together, and I really enjoyed it.

Kangaroo who knew?!? Plenty to choose from and even some specialties and exotics. Desserts were fantastic. Great variety on the menu and fantastic service.
