The welcome was no more... We preferred a table inside, because we wanted to have a quiet lunch. The service was pretty bof! (too long, as we were barely 4 tables in all and for everything. I had a salad. As I am a little eater, the little salad served me. But for good eaters... it's pretty thin quantities. Bad value for money. At the time of the check, we waited 20 minutes, (when the room inside was still empty). After 20 minutes, the waitress tells us that the boss will come down to cash us. Five minutes later... we are asked to go to the boss at the bar. The boss, to crown everything, was unpleasant. We'll never come back by this restaurant. Not recommended.

In summary, I wanted to react to the only existing criticism on google: not the quality price is not only measured at the plate. Place of charm dating from 1902, located on the edge of the Allier, cordial welcome and very attentive service for what is of my experience (dining a Saturday of cross-country chase, with two very young children). Cité regular dans le routard. So don't stop at one negative opinion! I've had a great resting time on a hard day! The veal kidneys, very successful, and served only when I return from the sunset on the nearby bridge!
Very limited practices. We booked for 4 people by phone. 2 adults a teenager and a child. Price of the room 75€. Arrived on site 19h, we are offered the room with a second bedroom option because the first has only 3 beds (1 single bed and 1 double bed). No other choice but to take the second what doubles the price... it's a hostage take... In addition, room 1 and 2 has very poor beds and no pillows. Passing and noisy street. Wifi absent while reported. Just passable breakfast at 7€ with milk-free chocolate.... (dehydrated mix with water... and pastries not in the morning. We didn't do the second night originally planned...

If you are visiting the region or as we are on the way to the N7, gastronomic stop highly recommended. Quality of excellent dishes: selection of excellent charolaise, everything is made home even fries, homemade desserts including sorbets and ice creams. The service is very fast for children) but lacks smiles. Menu from 25 to 38€.

Excellent cuisine, dishes are rich and refined. Very good reception, very beautiful setting, possibility of lunch outside the edge of the alab. The restaurant is located near the RN7, if you pass by, don't hesitate to stop there.
