Hôtel Le Couvent Royal

Reception non-existent and restaurant room badly indicated and deserving of a refresh: vacuum cleaner abandoned at the entrance to the kitchens, smelly toilets and dirty floor, cobwebs on the windows, menu menu whose suggestion of the day was absent, lighting too dark. ....Very disappointed with this visit where only the kitchen raised the level. Hearty meal and lots of flavors.... We knew the royal convent a few years ago with much more class and standing.

Ended up here by chance, without a reservation but luckily one table left. The service was extremely friendly and correct. The starter may have come a little too quickly, but an excuse from the waiter quickly forgets that. The three course menu was really good and the price very correct. This, and the beautiful setting, made for a successful evening.

A majestic setting, an intriguing and passionate sommelier but a meal that does not put in the price box of sweet dreamy product, too bad I hope to be able to spend next year to give a 5 because the historic setting deserves it to make an artifice between my eyes and my taste buds

Exceptional setting, a service worthy of a star, for a moderate price. The impeccable table manager, the lady (Céline I believe) who was a table clerk did her job to perfection. Congratulations, continue I will come back more often.

We really loved the beauty and calm of the Royal Convent. Our room was very comfortable with a view that we never tire of. Very good cuisine.
