Location is great, in close proximity of all cable cars. Rooms are nice and cozy, with huge double mattresses, so sleeping is great. We had a great view from the room of the main street. Enough space in all closets, modern bathroom with all necessities, including bathrobes and slippers. Modest but fine mini bar. Nice swimming pool, not big but never overcrowded (we went in summer), with a jacuzzi section. I travel a lot. I visit a lot of good hotels and restaurants in Europe. All of us who go skiing knows that a 4 star hotel in Austria normally is good, often even very good. I have stayed at many of the 4-star hotel i Saalbach, but this was the first time a visited Hotel Neuhaus. The restaurant cannot be compared with other 4-star hotel restaurants in Saalbach. The menu seems to be good but when the food is served it does not take an educated eye to realise that the food belongs somewhere else than in an Austarian 4-star hotel. Had a fabulous week in this hotel, great service - when I went to reception to ask about storing skis both receptionists jumped up to help immediately. They were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms, bar, restaurant, swimming pool area are all of a very high standard. The food was amazing! Different every night, 5 courses we were very pleased we booked half board. We stayed here for a week in February. The staff were great, the room very modern and comfortable. The restaurant offered excellent food, the best we have had in Saalbach. We were part of a large group 40 people in total and the Hotel was superb in accommodating all our requirements. Including providing us a private dining area. The spa is also excellent. We will be definitely returning!

We had a 6 day package trip to this hotel. It is a fantastic hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food very good and the rooms large. We attended some guided hiking trips. Agnes was a super guide. So all in all a wonderful stay.
The hotel restaurant seems reserved for hotel guests, but you can eat in the really nice bar and the food is excellent. House wines not so good through the glass, but the beer is excellent. Reserve a table as there are only a few.
It was a dinner we had there. We had a tomahawk steak that is quite good, the salad buffet selection also great; we had the salmon prawn end with the desert. All food is great the waitress is also very nice.
A very well presented restaurant, serves some amazing dishes. Every time we ate in the restaurant, we were very impressed by the food and the portion sizes. Frank in the bar was also great!

Unfortunately only discovered this restaurant on our last day but the food was exceptional and so much better and cheaper than all the rest of the more popular restaurants in the village.
Excellent price for a double American, cappuccino for 4.20. Although the personell was beautiful and the coffee ok the price is not justified.
