The Hotel Casita works well enough clean rooms, good bathroom layout and a comfortable bed. (When you arrive late and the door is closed, there is a system to win entry, but at least one colleague found it a little challenging. ...But if you want to eat and try the interesting wines on the display, do not go on Sunday or Monday evening when the restaurant is closed. Deity, because there is a strong Spanish connection by the owner fatherly side and I was looking forward to trying the food. Anyway, if you stay on one of these nights, be assured that breakfast is served, all fine but medium European style is not as exciting as a dinner.
I had high expectations after reading some of the reviews here, but yesterday I was disappointed with my dinner here. The dining room is a relaxing and pleasant place to be (even if for an unknown reason we sat in the front area...where the tables were without table cloths and fabric napkins why the difference? , the service was absolutely fine, but the food was a waste. The tapas we shared were not particularly good (the chicken croquettes, dry and almost tasteless and my main course was just ok, but disappointing in the price and general pretensions of the restaurant itself. Too bad.
My husband brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service pleasant and the food beautiful. We also ordered the only red wine from Tenerife that was perfect for my beef and my fish dishes. The soup as a starter was delicious and so was my apple cake. It's my second visit to this restaurant and I'd come back here.
When visiting the magical and amazing Hohenzollern castle I recommend you the stay at this hotel if you can. You get a taste of Spain in Germany. Beautiful and modern rooms. Great Resto and breakfast. Great staff and a very good service.
