We were there for a business gathering. The services are very friendly, but the food for vegetarians are very bland, lacking of spices. We know this place is not really for vegetarian, but some of our colleagues who had meat also said there food was...just Okay but not great. There were five of us out of people had different vegetarian options, but none of us were excited about our food
As a firsttimer in Jena I spent my first evening at Stilbruch and had the Thuringian tasting platter. What to say, apart it is a purely German experience: good food, not fine but tasty, hearty and comforting, for a very affordable price. A couple beers...and you feel at home in Jena
A local recommended this restaurant to us and said it was the best German cuisine in town. We loved it. Friendly staff, who also put up with my bad german! Food was tasty but portions were huge. We ordered a meal each and each dish...could easily have fed people. Share one dish

beautiful spaces in the city jena. nice young staff was fun and attentive. roulade mit riesenkloß und schweinefilet have all tasteful cellar beer as well as espresso with mousse au chocolat were delicious
