They were out of the food I had requested which is understandable however they did not discuss other options with me before bringing out a substitute. They were not accommodati g anything else. The service is also very slow and took a long time to get ketchup I was afraid to even order another dish with how long the wait would be. Save your money and go elsewhere. There are many other options available.
Food is very good and well presented, Typical German style so lots of meat, but also some fish dishes. Nice waiting staff and pleasant surroundings inside, but if possible is best to sit outside in the garden under the spreading vine. Good selection of local wines on offer. Also good for a coffee and cake during the afternoon, although do not accept cards when paying for this. Cakes are lovely.
Second time we have eaten at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. As you walk onto the terrace, it is like you are walking into a private flower garden. The entire terrace is wrapped in beautiful colors. Food was tasty and hot. The view of the Rhine is beautiful and the staff friendly. Will be our go to restaurant whenever we visit Rüdesheim.
A warm welcome and a beautiful ambience, the mood rises immediately! The menu was very tidy and fast we decided. In the meantime we had received drinks, wine and mineral water. The service was fleeting and attentive, we could spend a successful evening there!
