I visited Taste of Katz, situated in the CityPoint Mall in Dekalb, and unexpectedly found this prohibition-style bar. As soon as you enter, you’re greeted by rows of eerie death masks and unsettling displays. The spooky atmosphere is a refreshing departure from the typical bar scene and really transports you away from the mall's bright lights. It was no surprise to see absinthe featured on the menu. Be sure to come for happy hour and stick around for a fun trivia game! And don’t worry, the losers only receive a complimentary death mask as a joke!
Came for a Taste of Katz (located within the CityPoint mall at Dekalb) and stumbled upon this prohibition-style bar. Rows of death masks and gory displays greet you at the entrance. The macabre vibes were certainly a switch from the regular bar scene, and the atmosphere takes you far away from the bright mall lights. I was not surprised to spot absinthe on the menu.Come for the happy hour and stay for the light and fun trivia game! Losers get a complementary death mask (i jest).
Fun atmosphere, fyi bar is in the movie theater. The cocktails are pretty good for the price. 14 for an interesting cocktail. Always fun to walk around and look at the pieces of art, def weird and not as much going on as like an actual museum of-course but if you like weird stuff like this it’s fun to walk around with someone after a few drinks.
Needed a place to hang before dinner reservation. Found this place by using google maps. This bar is on the 4th floor of the mall and by the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. I found out you can order a bottle of bubbles to enjoy in the cinema.

after you're done watching a film at Alamo or shopping in the area, pop in for a beer or three. great selection on tap, mixed drinks, and friendly staff. oh and there's some wax heads and such. oddities abound. cheers!
It was a quick stop and didn't stay long but Love the Ambience!.. which is scary mixed with creepy mixed with speakeasy vibes. Drink was great and the bartender was friendly. Will definitely be back.
We had a blast watching the masses play the guessing game on the app... Not sure what the name of the game was but we enjoyed our drink after watching a phenomenal movie #WomanKing
The bartender made our drinks with such care and finesse. it was wonderful to see how much he enjoys his job. Such a cool place to stop and have a drink and look around!
