I visited the restaurant for New Year's Eve with a group of 11, and there were only a few people dining there. The Indian restaurant next door was fully booked. The service was mediocre; we had to go up to the counter to order drinks because they were so slow. Additionally, the restrooms were unpleasantly smelly. We opted for the banquet menu, but all the beef dishes were sour and had a strange odor. When I brought it to the chef's attention, he insisted that there was nothing wrong with the food. I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.
Eating was sensible and hot and served fast. no significant difference between the two aromes. the service was less than satisfactory tablecloths with oil stained. the crook was dirty and when we were asked for a new teller, was asked where it was dirty instead of simply replacing it. feedback from friends reported that this was not isolated. eat ok service less than expected cleanliness below par.
We don't like to stray.. The food at House of Zen is simple and tasty. Our regular order is peking steak, mongolian steak and either szechuan chicken or request the garlic chicken. It isn't the best chinese in Adelaide, that's to be found in Chinatown, but it's great for the area.
Avoid at all costs, waited 45 mins to get food, 50 seat resterant 0 people in there, it's not hard to see why it's empty and to top it off rude arrogant staff, please shoot yourself in the foot before coming to house of zen Book a table now
The best service, and absolutely the best Chinese in Adelaide. We have always had Chinese food on Glen Osmond Road, but since moving to the hills, Zen is the best in Adelaide. Well done to all the staff hello Lily)!
I had a wonderful lunch experience. The food was great, the staff was friendly, and the service was usually excellent. Overall, it offers good value. I've been there three times and have yet to be disappointed.
Pleasant Evening. I have been here several times and always had good food and good service. I have rarely found it busy and the staff always have time to chat.
