Went with a small group on a Saturday eve. It was not overly crowded but definitely bustling.Great atmosphere although each time I’ve been it’s just SLIGHTLY too dark lighting wise unless you’re sat closer to the bar.The food was wonderful. The beef and Guinness with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies should not be missed, though it could do without the overly dry and in my plates case- inedible- puff “biscuit” I guess you’d call it? It was simply phyllo dough cut in a circle and baked. There was no substance to it and also did not taste like anything. Compared to the rest of the dish which is gorgeous and delicious, it felt like an unnecessary inclusion.I enjoyed the selection of mocktails...

We are originally from the UK and have been living in Jersey City for several years. Just last week, I was reminiscing about how much I miss being able to enjoy a Sunday roast dinner at a local pub. As I was walking home, I came across Hudson Hound and was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered Sunday Roast on the menu. I can confidently say that the food exceeded my expectations, and the live music was an added delight. The roast dinner was delicious, and the pâté was exceptional as well. The gravy, Yorkshire pudding, and mashed potatoes were all bursting with flavor! The beef was perfect too.

Came here for sunday brunch because Mathews was booked. Love the corner space and outdoor seating area. The inside at the bar would be a great place to watch soccer so will have to do that. Got the Hangover. The ham and tomato was great. The chicken liver pate was below average in taste and made my friend's stomach do somersaults. It was a mousse consistency, unlike duck pate which is what I normally prefer. Service was friendly. The food wasn't outstanding, but will give

Let me just say that our server Sam was attentive and made our visit enjoyable! Lets start with the drinks!!! House Margarita 8/10 ???????? was pretty good.. I usually do not like House Margaritas cause of the cheap Tequila that is used but unlike others this was pretty good!! Apps: Dry Rub Wings were moist and on point! It had a sweet spicy flavor to them which was good! These are for sure 9/10 ?????????? Pigs-in-a-blanket were ok. The dough was a crispy flake texture Book a table now

It's easy to bash a restaurant and its food because its the internet but i really have an issue with today's dinner and the proof is in the photo. Did the Sunday Roast Sirloin and for $28, i was pretty choked to see what arrived. The beef was dry like leather, the knife couldn't cut through it. Roast drip potatoes was similar to home fries....the mash was edible but I had to send the plate back and opt in for a burger...less risk of failure. I've seen photos on google

We decided to visit this restaurant specifically to try their dry rub wings after a friend's recommendation, and we were not disappointed! I also ordered the fish and chips and the JC Java, and both dishes were fantastic in flavor. We'll definitely be returning!

Great place to get brunch and enjoy some cocktails in this cold weather. I feel the cocktails at the speakeasy are better than upstairs might be placebo effect. Cocktails are in general okay. Place and vibes are great to hang

What a fun, pub atmosphere. We all the Sunday Roast and it took us back to Ireland! Amazing bartender who knows how to make a fantastic martini! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
