So glad we found Hughies!. Two friends and I had dinner at Hughies tonight to celebrate a birthday. I ordered the salt and pepper calamari, and my friends ordered the fish and chips and hokkien noodles with veggies. The staff were friendly and very efficient and were very accommodating to my friends menu alteration. We had also asked the staff to bring out a cake we had bought in to surprise my friend for her birthday, and again they were very accommodating, happy to sing to her and all. We had the pleasure of Hughie himself checking on our table and how everything was going, and had an extensive chat with him after our coffee. It's also very affordable! Great food at a great price and friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. It's my goto place for a local meal. Why eat at home when you can eat better here at a great price. Menu is a variety of Indian, Asian and a fusion of western food that is tasty and satisfying. A new menu will be launched next week so can't wait to progress through it. Hughie will accomodate you to the best of his ability so come say hi and try.
What a little gem in the heart of Kings Park! Delicious food and generous portions. The Chicken Parma was so moist and tender and only $15 and the Haryala Chicken Masala was absolutely superb and only $15. Friendly service and i love a chef that takes time to ask his customers if they are enjoying their meals. We will definitely be back.
I was impressed by this restaurant. It's easy to drive past without noticing, so they may want to consider improving their exterior appearance. I ordered the Cauliflower Manchurian dish and it was very tasty. It was also good value for money and served quickly by friendly staff. I will definitely return to try another dish.

I had the chicken breast which was great for the price and staff are friendly and attentive. However we ordered the creme brulee and didn't receive the cherries as it states in the menu and the top was slightly burnt from the flame. Overall, still a good experience and will go there again since I only live 5 minutes away
Gosh I wish I lived in st.albans!!!! Our experience here was faultless!!! Firstly Hughie is so friendly... And the food- so good! I had salt pepper calamari my hubby had rib eye- both were so tender flavoursome! Great coffee creme brûlée was divine! Loved it so much we are planning a family reunion there in a few weeks.
Pleasantly surprised. I came in with fairly low expectations due to the location but all of us on our table of 8 really enjoyed their meals and coffee. Everything was well priced and the service was great. The owner Hughie and the wait staff are lovely. Child friendly.
The service at this restaurant is amazing! I went twice in one weekend because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend it. I tried the banana fritter and it was absolutely delicious.

great parmas on the $10 Thursday nights. Very generous portions too. Next time will try the calamari rings, hope its the same quality ! Noticed Hughie greeting and chatting to customers which was a nice touch
I visited this restaurant with a friend recently. The staff was excellent - very friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious and full of flavor. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
