The ice cream at this restaurant is delicious, with a variety of unique flavors that I really enjoyed! It was my first time trying it, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were a lot of people there even though it was very late at night. Some of the flavor names were unfamiliar to me, and I wish there was more information provided about them. However, I decided to trust my instincts and try the ginger stout flavor, which turned out to be incredible. Overall, you can't go wrong with this brand; just trust your instincts and give a flavor a try!
Couldn't resist making a stop here even during a rainy holiday season. I didn't know what kind of flavor Secret Breakfast was, but I just trusted that it would be good and it sure was. It was a kind of vanilla/malt flavor, absolutely delicious. It was pretty sweet, so sharing a small scoop with a friend was enough to satisfy my ice cream craving. Prices are standard here for the quality. Would definitely come back!
I recently visited a fantastic ice cream spot in Oakland with incredibly flexible hours. They offer delicious staple flavors like Harvey Milk, as well as a tasty butterscotch ice cream that I enjoyed. While some of their seasonal flavors may not be as impressive, overall I'd give them four stars. As long as you choose wisely, you're sure to have a great experience.
Set in a refurbished trailer next to a popular beer garden, this small shop packs a large ice cream punch. The flavors are always unique and delicious. Secret Breakfast is their stand out with bourbon flavored ice cream. Bonus if you read this during September 2021 they’re giving out free pints of cornflake crunch if you’re vaccinated.

This is review is strictly for their pint ice cream. I’ve bought one pint of black sesame and one pint of matchadoole. And, they are so salty and lack of flavor. I really don’t get the hype about their ice cream. I’ll never waste my money buying their ice cream ever again :
Soo.. first time coming here was with my son. We tried the Malty Mill Chocolate, and it was real good. Perfect cool down on a hot Oakland day. Today, I went again with my boyfriend. We shared the Secret S'mores Sundae... amazing! Tasted great!
This part of Oakland doesn't really have much going on for ice cream imo. For the best ice cream nearby, I recommend walking over to Whole Foods and getting a pint of Jenny's. That stuff is amazing, trust me.
So happy there is a east bay location as I frequented the San Francisco location for many years. The hype is real the flavors are silky. Smoked Sea Salt Chocolate is like a ganache in ice cream form.

Pricier ice cream but the flavors were great! I really loved the matchadoodle one and the person scooping the ice cream was lovely.
