Hunan Express used to be my favorite spot for Chinese food in Crofton, but I noticed their prices have gone up. When I picked up an order today, I was charged nearly a dollar more per meal than the menu price, with no explanation or receipt provided. While I understand inflation, the price increase doesn’t seem justified given the portion sizes. The food is still excellent, and I’ve never had any problems before. I still order from here sometimes, but not as frequently as I used to.
Ordered food from here tonight like we have every Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember. We placed our order through Beyond Menu, as we?ve done before without any issue. We get there and waited in line for 20 minutes. 40 minutes after our pick up time, we finally get up to the counter. They immediately charged us for the food before telling us that they hadn?t even started making it. Their excuse was they got so busy they just stopped paying attention to the online
Apologies for the quality of the photo, but the food was fantastic. I upgraded the sesame chicken to white meat for an extra $1.25, and it was definitely worth it. This might be one of the best Chinese take-out chickens I've had in a long time. The vegetable lo mein was a bit greasier than I prefer, but it wasn't enough to affect my overall rating. The food was reasonably priced, well-portioned, conveniently located, and most importantly, tasted great!
I have to agree with the previous review. Prices went up on our regular delivery order by $16.00 !!! but the amount of meat was AT LEAST half than it was before. During this Biden inflation, either charge the old price for less meat or charge the new price for the same amount of meat as before. Can?t have it both ways and expect people to continue to order. I?m disappointed because I liked their food but won?t be ordering again. Book a table now

Was here the evening of 11/28/2022 and ordered Singapore noodles. As I was placing the noodles in a smaller bowl to eat, I found hair in my noodles!!! I called this store right away and the lady asked me to come back and I was able to get something else,but I will never come back to this restaurant ever again, yuck! ????????????
Took a very long time to receive my food; I placed my order at 5pm, received it at 6:10pm on a Sunday… Ordered chicken with broccoli, and crispy beef. Not complicated at all. The food arrived so cold that the sauce was coagulated. The flavor was mid,at best.
This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. It’s simple, but the food is incredibly tasty and reasonably priced. The portions are huge, and they really pack in the vegetables. I'm so glad I live nearby! Book a table now
the food was hot and gross. The rice tasted like it was warmed over and did not taste fresh . The delivery guy demanded a tip that i barely had and would not leave until i gave it to him.
