The food is quite tasty. Everything is served in to-go containers, even for dining in. The ingredients are fresh; however, the dishes are pre-prepared and brought out within a minute of placing the order. The service is quick and friendly. There's a clear Halal Zabihah sign displayed, and they even list the farm where the meat is sourced from outside the restaurant. I’m giving it four stars because I compared the same menu items with another half-Chinese place in Springfield, and I found theirs to be better. Overall, it's still good food.
Standard takeout Chinese fare. Most of it is pretty good: the orange chicken, Kung pao chicken, the go-to take out stuff. Theymessed up our order and corrected it. However, it seems their Thai options, with a picture of their Pad Thai attached, don 't really adhere to any concept of the original food. Generally good interactions and food but this one soured it a bit for me.
When I lived in Ashburn, I went to Hunan several times a week just for their Green Curry Chicken. There's simply no other green curry around that compares. Now, I make it a point to visit whenever I'm back in town. The staff there are incredibly friendly, and I can't recommend this place highly enough.
After moving to Ashburn from Manasass, I was having such a hard time finding a good Chinese restaurant that had both good service and good food. Hunan checks off both!! If you’re looking for a staple place in the Ashburn area, this is the place!

The chicken that is used here is fresh hand cut halal organic chicken. My favorites are orange/sesame chicken, spicy chicken curry with rice or low Mein and crispy beef. Everything is great and made great quality.
Sesame Chicken is always white meat, food is always fresh and delicious!! Prices are also reasonable! This is not the nearest Chinese restaurant, but always our way because it is so good.
The food was excellent. I appreciated that the restaurant offers both Chinese cuisine and Halal options. I enjoyed both the dishes and the ambiance.
Very good quality. But lately, I've been watching them put more vegetables and less meat there meat dishes. Maybe late a day they ran out of meat.
