Hungry Drover - Table reservation

Great lunch spot! Food is great!This is one of those places that I walked into not expecting much from.When I got my food I was seriously impressed. Yes this is a meat three restaurant, with a lot of other things on the menu, however, the quality of food and flavors is unmatched from any other meat and three I've been to in my life. Great stuff!My recommendations are:Flounder with fried green tomatoes and drover caviar.Chicken sandwich is really goodTomato pie is something you need to try.Fried Green tomato BLT.I haven't found any other things that I'm disappointed with on the menu, however, these were my favorites.I've been back countless times since that initial time and it's been good eve...

We are going a construction job nearby and have friends that raved about Hungry Drove. Thought we would give it a try for a late breakfast. 1st impression, quaint small old school country diner. Ordered at the counter and took a number to sit down. Great staff, friendly. Breakfast came. My wife and I had both ordered eggs, over medium. Whites were still runny. It happens so we dealt with it. Only other complaint, my wife had ordered a side of white toast, $2.19...ouch. Total for breakfast for 2 was about $25. We will try them again. Nice little place in the country. Reason for 4 stars were the eggs. Will update review after return visit.

Great dinner. The breakfast was delicious. The wife had the Southern Benedict and I had eggs and bacon. Coffee was very good. I will definitely go back.

Its really good quality food. One of my favorite shrimp n grits. It was delicious and not a ton of butter.
