Excellent place. I always stop here on the way to or from the dentist next door. Staff are very friendly, place is clean and coffee absolutely superb..and reasonably price. I have not eaten here but yge food looks amazing and there is always a massive queue of local people in the morning for takeaway breakfast...a good indication of quality if ever there was one. Going to try the good this week but a highly recommended coffee atop
Stayed in the Lace Market Hotel Sunday 24th and Monday 25th Sept. Looked out of the bedroom window and saw the Hungry Pumpkin. Went for a look, right then, Breakfast in here Monday. Great Breakfast, Great Staff, Great prices and a Very Good Menu. Tuesday Morning, Breakfast Time. Hmmmmm? Where shall we go? Yes, to the Hungry Pumpkin! Just as Great today as it was yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Been twice now. Its a small place and we've had to wait a few minutes for a table both times but it's worth it. Good tasting coffee and breakfasts are fantastic. Mega breakfast is excellent value. My wife loves the Halloumi special. The friendliness of the staff makes it even better and a few places could learn from here how to treat customers. We will be back when in Nottingham again.
I had a really enjoyable lunch at the Hungry Pumpkin with my sister. The Italian staff were warm, friendly and very helpful, giving the cafe a lovely atmosphere. Our food was delicious and very generous portions especially the wedges! We'd highly recommend it and will be back next time we visit Nottingham. Worth hunting out, we went because of the reviews, had to wait a little while for a table but was worth it. I had the omelette, others had sandwiches and ciabatta. All was delicious, freshly cooked, excellent service and great value for money. Lots of people were ordering takeaway lunch and coffee.
Food service were awesome . Baked spud, veggie breakfast for lunch was so very good. Make the effort to come here you’ll have no regrets! Fabulous atmosphere and excellent home cooked food. Will be back for coffee again tomorrow.
We met a friend on a quick visit to Nottingham. There was an extensive menu, plus specials. We are vegan, our friend is an omnivore. We all found food to our liking. The staff were friendly and attentive. Great experience.
