Husk Restaurant - Table reservation

Ok, so we had high expectations coming in. This place is very hyped up. We managed to snag last minute reservations for 530pm on a Monday. We were very impressed with the service. Very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. It was our babymoon, and the menu itself said Happy babymoon , which was a special touch. Food wise, we 're giving Husk 3/5 stars because it really didn 't knock our socks off. In fact, we only liked 3 out of the 5 dishes we ordered. Out of those, we only really highly recommend 1. On a short trip to Charleston SC. Went to Husk. Stayed in the bar. Great whiskey selections. Bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. Started with their local flight. Three locally distilled whiskeys. They were wonderful. Also had their SC raw oysters, steak tartar, and duck wings. All of the food was outstanding. I will definitely return here on my next trip. I have got to try the restaurant.

We made a reservation about 10 days in advance and ordered the Dragoon punch (delicious drink that reminded me of an elevated, stronger version of a twisted tea) and cinnamon rolls (warm and the frosting was perfection) perhaps the best cinnamon rolls ever! Great food and atmosphere! Our waiter Mark was very nice and the overall service was great. We got the beignets to start which were delicious. Then I got the fried chicken which was great. It wasn't too spicy. Would recommend!

What a great restaurant find in Charleston! Our server Rob was fantastic . The food is delicious And the ambiance is beautiful. Highly recommend!!
