after buying my food, went back to the load looking for my family mice, I went from the customer service counter where a gentleman got help from the cash (on the counter). when the dog he had on his leash, rushed into a breeding. it scared me enough. this man accused me of being too aggressive to his dog. I answered him, noisy, I was just over and he had more control over his dog. he said louder that I shouldn't be aggressive towards dogs. the play continued between us and I had no help from the manager who helped another customer. she did nothing to intervene. until I complained and she said she was watching everything. super safe place for shopping!
was ok for Chinese food, but I certainly had much better. noodles were too mushy, get me chicken, that was much too sweet and muddy, fricking terrible for someone who is pre-diabetic like me, and the price of crab rangoon was ridiculous. To be honest, I got sick of this eating and was at work when I ate it. I had to run twice to the ice. I would not recommend that someone try this place unless they eat free and ready to risk their loved ones and their health.
It’s truly saddening when there are markers posted at every register that say to please stand back while the registers are sanitized between customers and it has never once happened in the many many times I have been in the store since they were posted. When you ask them if they are going to do it they say “oh no it’s fine” no it’s not fine for the customer or for the employee. This is a serious matter; people are dying!
Every single grocery pickup experience has been poor. Inside the store employees aren’t very helpful and just generally seem like they couldn’t care less. Never received a credit for an entire tub of groceries they missed with my pick up order. The list goes on... I will however patronize other HyVee stores that are far more friendly and organized. Do not get the Create Your Own Omelet*. It has barely any toppings for all that I selected. Not cooked very well either. The Gourmet Cinnamon Roll was drowning in frosting. That might be a bonus for some, but its soggy and disgusting for me. Did get my side bread with the omelet. One of the worst times Ive ordered from Hy-Vee.
I frequently order the PB Burger. Its decent if you like weird food combinations. The breakfast items are decent too however I think the outcome of the food varies based on whos cooking for the day. I have never had a bad dish from Hy-Vee Mealtime/Market Grille/Wahlburgers.
one stop for everything that you need, prices are good and you can't beat the variety. Deli is crazy, soup and salad bar, pizza, Chinese food at a very reasonably price and the daily specials are unbelievable.
observe the prices in meat counters 3/2022. the regal price was lower than the ad price and the seller did not want to honor the lower regal price. Book a table now
