While passing through from Niagara back to Cleveland, we decided to stop at a restaurant with veggie options, fish, grizzlies, shrimps, and great reviews that we had seen online. We were warmly greeted by our server, Ashanti. While my family members opted for a simple breakfast, I couldn't resist trying the Cajun Shrimp and grits. They did not disappoint. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the Cajun seasoning on the grits had a nice kick to it. Just be cautious as the dish was served extremely hot! Overall, we were very satisfied with our meal and highly recommend this local gem for its friendly service and delicious food.
Breakfast is a favorite meal of my husband and I. We had breakfast today (Sunday, July 24, 2022) at Hyde Park Cafe. It was, by far, the best breakfast we have ever had! We are visiting from Florida and will be in the area for another month. We will definitely go back to Hyde Park Cafe before heading back to Florida. Food is excellent and the staff very attentive . We had the pleasure of meeting the husband and wife who own the restaurant. They are to be commended for their hard work in establishing such a successful eatery! Jeanne and Jerry
Whenever I return home, I make it a point to visit this restaurant. My only criticism would be the service, which could use some improvement. However, the delicious food and inviting atmosphere definitely compensate for it. I appreciate that it’s black-owned, and I really enjoy that aspect. The food is fantastic, with fish and grits being my favorite dish. It’s a great place for conversation too!
My family had to wait a few minutes to be seated for breakfast. The waitress barely acknowledged us as she pointed to a table and placed the menus down without saying a word. We noticed another family arriving, getting seated, and having their order taken within just 5 minutes. After being ignored for 15 minutes, we decided to leave. Book a table now
I had the most amazing shrimp and grits for breakfast. Besides the shrimp and grits, the plate sizes are filling and the menu prices are pocket friendly. The staff was very inviting and I felt welcomed. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to spot. The next time we are in Niagara Falls, we will eat here.
I didn't have high expectations from the exterior, but once inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was outstanding. Without a doubt, it was the best meal we had all weekend. The chicken and waffles were excellent, and the flavors were spot on.
We found this gem of a cafe last summer when we visited Niagara. We returned every day that week for breakfast and were never disappointed! Everything was delicious, prices were great, family-run business. We are still recommending this restaurant to our Ohio friends who travel that way!
we stopped here on the way to make a few sightseeing today and we were so shocked as amazing that was eating and how friendly the waitress was! please support these youngs, they have a great, though simple, menu with cheap preisen. If we're ever back in town, we'll stop again! Book a table now
Delicious affordable! I’m visiting for a long weekend and wanted a filling breakfast this met the mark! We will have breakfast here tomorrow as well before the flight back to Atlanta. Wishing prosperity longevity for this gem of a diner!!
