I’ve never really enjoyed this place, even though it seems popular with everyone else. We stopped by last year for some appetizers and drinks and thought it was decent at the time, but we were mistaken. The summer rolls were mostly lettuce, and the peanut sauce was too thin. The pork dumplings were good, but the other appetizers were just okay. My Thai curry sauce was the worst I’ve ever had – the broth lacked any flavor. The cucumber and avocado roll was tasty, and others in our group enjoyed their sushi. Perhaps I just ordered poorly, but after about ten visits, my experience has been mediocre at best.
Finally a place in town where I can find delicious crispy rice. I also got their big eye tuna tart which was good but could do without the sauce but was still good nevertheless. Their pineapple fried rice is as good as what I could find in Chinatown. If you still prefer to outdoor dine , they do not have heaters but will open outdoor dining if you prefer to do so.

Ordered a large sashimi, beef chow fun and chirashi for takeout since it was a nice day and family wanted to sit outside. Thought about staying, but the outdoor area was limited and didn't like that it was right next to side road. The sashimi and chow fun was decent and the chirashi was ok. May try to go and sit inside next time.

Put an order through grubhub , got a totally wrong order , called the restaurant, manager put the responsibility on grubhub and was rude. Called grubhub and was told the restaurant made a mistake. Called asiana back and they again did not take responsibility. So avoid Asiana . I will never order from asiana again
This restaurant is a disappointing attempt at Vietnamese cuisine. They boast about their chef's training at Le Bernardin and Guy Savoy in Paris, but it seems he has forgotten the fundamentals. The food is overly salty, the presentation is lacking, and the staff clearly does not understand Vietnamese cuisine.
The omakase was exceptional, even better than any places in NYC. It's a fantastic spot for enjoying sushi and omakase.
