We were at La Vallee Designer for shopping when we decided to drop by for a meal. And here we were at Hoppi for our Lunch! There was a short queue which moves, and we were seated within 15 mins of wait. The atmosphere and setting looks casual The restaurant belongs to a French chain of grill restaurants with a hippopotamus as its logo! The menu screamed a large number of beef dishes, specialty here is the beef steak! One can choose from the various beef cuts and the variety of cuts will definitely appeal to any meat lover. There are serving mid-priced fare like burgers and steaks plus some interesting sides and desserts We ordered a Hippo Marinee and a Fish Chip, a cappuccino. Short wait and...
We come to Paris 4 times a year and always come here for our lunch/dinner when we arrive, and I have reviewed this restaurant before and gave it 5 stars however…. This time it was terrible if you are going to hike the prices up this much I would think the quality would be the same undercooked chicken, fries? More like Crisps and the burger was tasteless we were in the middle of ordering our food and the waitress was pulled away by the supervisor to serve another table so we sat for a further 20 mins only to be told “wait” when we asked to be served. The food was mediocre at best and no one on our table ate their meal but no one cared. But don’t worry I won’t have to leave a bad review about...
Worst experience ever. Went with my girlfriend and we BOTH were consuming. She wanted a take out pizza for later and went to pick it up. As she walked in again to the restaurant I wasn’t finish my dinner) a very rude and angry employee yelled at her trowing her out. She explained that the pizza was not for consuming there and she was with me. He yelled again. I even didn’t finished my food as this is was very disrespectful. This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. If there is a policy against this you could nicely explain that to costumers instead of yelling. I now understand when people said to me before my trip that French people are not nice.
First time I taste, warm welcome, polite and friendly staff with smile behind the mask! The dishes are beautiful, good and affordable. The meat is well cooked. The dishes are hearty. Gourmet desserts. We had a very good time with my dear. The restaurant's interior is very elegant. We can take a long time between the entrance and the dish. Meet a Gloria like me. I recommend

We had a good, family friendly, meal here. The steaks (au poivre) were tasty and the quantity of food plentiful. The service was also very good and considerate of our family having two small children. I probably would not get the burrata salad again (the cooked tomatoes just don't work with the dish).
A lot of waiting to enter as in all other restaurants in the gallery. Possibility of glass tables with table football to keep waiting until being served. A friendly service despite the world at the end of the year. Prices on average and of good quality.
Simple service, quick, available, user-friendly, listening and of course what you eat is good: respected cuisine and flavor at the RDV. Thanks to the team. The least star is to wait, manage the flow... difficult especially during the lunch break.
The waitress was miserable and the ribs flat cold so I sent them back, no apology, came back reheated with my half eaten rib still on the plate. Will definitely not be returning

Like the look of this place from outside so decided to give it a go….wasn’t disappointed the steak was beautifully cooked plus the beers they have on draught are very nice!
