I Quattro Mori - Table reservation

On the way to Thuringen we stopped for a quick lunch in Bad Hersfeld and we saw this central cozy Italian restaurant which seemed to promise a regional cuisine experience. Unfortunately already by a quick glance to the menu full of spelling mistakes it became...clear that besides the mores nothing Sardinian would have been experienced. We ordered two glasses of Negramaro: the wine was old, probably the bottle was sitting around for one or more weeks open. We informed the waitress of the inconvenience, she tried the wine with a straw! and sentenced it was fine. We didn't drink it but got a glass of Chianti which was rather pleasant. We wanted to be seated but despite the restaurant being empty aside from two tables being taken we were told that every single table was reserved inside and outside and we could not be seated. We walked by an hour later and the restaurant was...still amost empty! We came there with young children and we wanted a table for six. In any event, I have never come across such a rude and arrogant place before

Nice place, excellent Italian fresh food and warm and friendly owner: Sandro, you're Super! Fresh tuna with vegetables was delicious and hand made tagliatelle with black truffle was simply perfect

We ate dinner here lat night. The food was excellent, and served in a speedy and friendly manner. The restaurant is very popular as the prices give very good value indeed! Would I return? Yes

Not my taste ... the ambiance is quite nice but not more ... the pizza was not recommended for my taste
