I had heard good things about this place, but maybe the ownership had changed? I was totally disappointed.I ordered spicy tonkotsu ramen. The broth was good, but the noodles were curly egg noodles. I do like this kind of noodles, but that’s not what I expected for a tonkotsu ramen. (Tonkotsu ramen usually comes with pale, thin straight noodles.)And the noodles were also too soft without “koshi.” (It was overcooked.)When I asked, the server had no idea, and she said there was only one kind of noodles. That did it for me.She was nice and friendly, but she also forgot to bring napkins and chopsticks until I asked. (The customers sitting next to me also had to ask.)Broth: 4 starsNoodles: 1 starT...

I don’t know what happened to this place in comparison to when it first opened, but it’s changed. Went there for dinner with my family last night and the noodles were all stuck together and did not taste fresh at all. The bowls have also changed and the portion size was half what it used to be. There was only one poor waitress serving all the people and although she was nice, I could tell she was stressed. Although clearly not her fault, things just took longer than it expected. I’m really sad because I used to really like this ramen place and now the quality of the ramen is quite poor and not even my kids, who love ramen, enjoyed their meal. Sadly, I no longer recommend this place.

The server seemed aware that we were dissatisfied with being served something that could pose a health risk, as she avoided making eye contact with us for the duration of our meal and simply placed the bill on the table while mumbling under her breath. I understand she's young and might have been nervous, but one of her coworkers was polite and had good social skills; he took the time to apologize for the poor quality of the food and our overall experience. Overall, this establishment seriously needs to reconsider its practices, as serving food in this condition is not only disappointing but also potentially illegal.

The ramen was quite disappointing; the noodles had an old taste and appearance, and the broth was too thin, resembling water. They don’t serve it with an egg or half an egg, so my family and I ordered one egg for each ramen bowl, but those eggs were terrible—overly brown and excessively sweet. When my husband asked the waiter about it, he explained that they marinate the eggs in broth, but honestly, they tasted so sugary that it felt like we were adding candy to the ramen. We spent $65 for four bowls of ramen and four unpleasant eggs, which was not worth it. We won't be returning! Book a table now

However, I found the soup to be lukewarm. One of my friends ordered the chicken ramen, and I tried a bite... unfortunately, it was not good at all. The soup lacked flavor and tasted more like lukewarm water. I highly recommend the tonkotsu ramen, but I would advise against the chicken ramen. The prices are, as usual in California, quite high; my bowl cost $14 plus tax and tip. I hope to return at least once every two months. If the prices were closer to what you'd find in Japan—around $7—I would definitely be here every week!

I absolutely love the vegan ramen! I've never tasted a broth like this before. The pine nut broth is incredibly creamy and rich! The fried gyoza was great as well. This is my favorite spot for ramen, so please don't change the recipe!!

Unfortunately, they changed the taste and ordering style. It is now very sugary sweet. The charsu, the bamboo, even the eggs. Not sure if they fired the old chef or what, but this new chef is just dumping sugar on everything.

First time visit and really enjoy the spicy tonkotsu ramen, matsunomi ramen, karaage chicken and spicy cucumber. Great food flavors and excellent friendly service. We definitely will come here again soon. Book a table now

The tonkotsu ramen (spicy and non spicy) are delicious. The cucumbers in hot chili oil is addictive and I can't get enough. I also had the croquette and they're delicious. A new fav of mine.
