The restaurant was underwhelming. I sampled a few dishes, and they were just average—nothing standout. One time, they really dropped the ball with my order. I requested firfir without tomatoes or large onions, and they assured me it would be accommodated. However, after waiting 45 minutes—despite being the only customer—I felt the wait was unwarranted, even if good food often takes time. When my meal finally arrived, it was clear that they hadn’t followed my request: the tomatoes were very apparent, and the onions looked like they had been roughly chopped. I ended up throwing the meal away when I got home.

I love Ethiopian food but I’m straight on some of the racist and ignorant people like the women working as an oppressed servant in this restaurant.

I had an incredible experience at this Ethiopian restaurant! This was my second visit and once again the food was consistently delicious. The dishes were bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. The service was both friendly and attentive, with special thanks to Betty for providing excellent service and making our meal enjoyable. Despite driving 50 minutes to get here, it was definitely worth every minute of the journey.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is excellent and the vibe warm and friendly. Much of this is due to the owner, Danny, who is an excellent, gracious host. He made an impromptu birthday celebration for our daughter into a very special night. Can't recommend this place enough!
