This is a hidden jewel in Arbutus. Tons of delicious flavors and great prices. It is not a ruffle and has not been updated in the interior for a long time, but do not let this sit down and have a snout (or three). You can milkshakes, sundaes, different cone types, and they will mix and match flavors for you. My single scoop waffle cone was less than $5 overall and was too much for me to finish (I know that this is super subjective and varies depending on the person). They have a small area outside for seats and several cabins inside. Perfect for families looking for a common treatment.
Yes, the ice cream house always has a variety of delicious flavors and toppings to choose from. I love ordering butter pecan and adding peanut butter, hot fudge, and whipped cream. the staff are also very friendly, fast and positive. the overall atmosphere is alive and the facility is clean. The only thing that bothers me is the hours because I can rarely do it when they are open because I tend to work. I wish they would open something earlier, but if I get the chance to visit, they are not disappointed! highly recommended.
Cute as a button ice cream joint! A couple of regulars suggested trying their Grand Central Station flavor, which was a solid recommendation. They seem to serve Hershey 's ice cream. You can sit inside and play checkers on the parlor tabletops (the shop probably seats about twenty people) and they have all the standards: ice cream cakes, banana splits, milk shakes. Outdoor picnic seating too.
It's actually on Linden Rd. opposite the fire department store. Beautiful setting, just wish that they have homemade ice cream instead of Hershey's, but this is a small quibble. So delightful to eat ice in a pavilion while the rain falls soft. Add: still great to be there. Only cash, but there's an ATM in the building. More than 31 flavors here, people!
