The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the overall experience is terrible. We witnessed two tables leave before us, but we stayed thinking it was just our hunger making us irritable. The restaurant has outdated menus and requires customers to use a poorly functioning mobile website in Old Town Alexandria. We constantly got kicked out of the app while trying to place our order, so eventually we just gave up and used one device to place the order.
We visited this restaurant for a quick sake bomb, served in authentic style with the shot balanced on chopsticks and pounding on the table required. It felt like they tolerated our presence but were not necessarily happy about it. The spicy tuna roll was tasty, but there were too many old COVID signs still up, which affected the overall atmosphere. The food was great, but the atmosphere was lacking, so I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
My stomach decided it wanted sushi a little later in the evening, so I deduced to make the drive to Ichiban Sushi House. It seems like most people order to-go, but the restaurant was clean, and the staff was on top of their game. They also have this cool chilled Saki bottle? Container? I don't know. It was blue, and cool looking. Regardless, Ichiban will take care of all your sushi needs. Solid choice.
This is THE BEST sushi i have ever had. Bring your mom, your grandmom, your kids, that one vegan friend yall don’t really like. Bring them all. I ordered the black dragon roll and I will never be the same. This was a spiritual experience. Please— give these kind people your life savings. You wont regret it. Highly recommended. I would give it a perfect 10 if I could. My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant three times in one week. The sushi is delicious, fresh, and served quickly, with great prices. There is a parking garage just a two-minute walk away if you can't find street parking.
Definitely an excellent sushi ? joint. Great gourmet quality with great service. Menu selection is fantastic and the prices are a bit reasonable. Place can be a bit tight though. Parking is metered only. Definitely coming back again!
This was my second time ordering delivery and i wanted to try something different i was looking forward to the octopus salad and was disappointed at how small this came out to be. It looks like a garnish. Book a table now
A small, no-frills Japanese restaurant. My Salmon Teriyaki dinner $20.95) had two generous portions of salmon, cooked just the way I wanted, and included a cup of miso soup and a small salad.Food: 5/5
