After reading similar reviews, I decided to share my experience as well. The restaurant had closed half of its seating area, resulting in a significant decrease in capacity. When I arrived, there were only 4 out of the 12-15 available seats occupied, including the bar area. Despite the lack of customers, the hostess informed me of a 1.5-hour wait time. I was puzzled, as there was no one else waiting in the lobby or outside. The hostess explained that those waiting had called ahead to reserve a table, even though the restaurant supposedly did not take reservations. After a confusing conversation with the manager, who seemed unaware of the difference between a waitlist and a reservation, I lef...

This place is small. 15 seats. 9 at the bar, 2 at one table and 4 at another. You can enter your name on an online waitlist or you can call them. Either way, it's a long wait. It was 45 minutes for me. Not bad, considering it was 1.5 hours for others. This place is busy with people getting takeout as well as calling to add their names to the waitlist. Old school hip hop music was pretty loud but you could still hear yourself think. The server was also the bartender. Nice chap. Very professional. I had the gyoza (it was ok) and the shoyu ramen. The dish was fine except for the chasyu asado (which was dry and stringy). I would have preferred a regular slice of chasyu. This place is not cheap b...

I'm a Ramen lover and this place checked all the boxes for me. I'd been here before but I hadn't visited in like two years. I brought my wife here for the first time and it was amazing! To start off we had the pork bao buns. The pork belly on bye buns was tender and well seasoned. The bread was really good to and the pickles were fresh. For my main course I had the karrage chicken bowl. This I may favorite meal at this place. The chicken is flash fried and well seasoned. The collard greens and eggs give this dish some interesting textures. For my dessert I had one of thier chocolate chip cookies. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Ramen in Tampa.

The ramen was magical, the space is not much to look at on the outside but a peaceful and beautiful environment on the inside. The chef came out to see how everything was and he was very gracious in accepting our appreciation. I had the tonkotsu ramen, my husband had the shoyu ramen and both were delicious. We also had the tsukemono, fried plantains, and gyoza. All fantastic.
