Ww ate there Friday night, 11-4-22. They had one server, one cook and one other employee. We waited 20 minutes to be sat. The food was horrible, I mean the worst we have ever had. The waffle was at least 3 days old. It was hard, dry and tasted odd. Thepancakes were burnt. The French fries were cold and hard. The Philly cheese stake sandwich was disgusting. The meat looked old.The bread was dry. We never received refills. The experience was the worst I have ever had. The food was so bad that we did noteat it. Did we complain, no. Why? The pancakes were overcooked, and there was no butter syrup provided. This is IHOP, not Denny's—pancakes are their specialty, so even if other things aren’t perfect, the pancakes should be spot on. I've ordered from this location often, and this is the second time in the last 30 days that this has occurred. I'm not sure if there’s new management or chefs, but something has clearly changed. Hopefully, things get better soon.
This was my first visit to IHOP in 10 years because of a gluten allergy. I tried the gluten-free pancakes and was very impressed—they had great flavor and texture. However, the bacon was a bit disappointing, as it tasted like microwave bacon and was thin and overly crunchy.
The service at this restaurant is excellent. The management is very welcoming and all the staff are fantastic. Joe is especially friendly to all customers. We are regulars here because we love it so much.
