Ikoo in Zurich is not just a restaurant, it is a culinary oasis for ramen lovers. One of my absolute favorites in the city, it offers an experience that goes far beyond just eating. Very nice simple Japanese restaurant, simple but complete menu with some seasonal specials, very good vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. The broth is delicious, they also have chilled noodles on the menu. The spicy ramen is one of our favorite dishes. Staff is nice, welcoming and efficient. Very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity provided.
It was a red flag when they took awhile to even acknowledge us and other parties, then they led a party that arrived later than us. Eventually, they led us to a small table to share with another couple, and the couple did not look happy (I don’t blame them). Also, the staff are not Japanese; this is not an instant minus, but something to be aware of.
What a good ramen. The composition was extremely authentic and delicious. Not a mainstream dish but you feel like you're in another world. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Hardly any waiting time for court. Reservations cannot be made, worst case scenario is a 10 minute wait, which is definitely worth it. We recommend.

As starters we had edamame, very tasty warm, also some gyoza. We had spicy Tantanmen Miso Ramen for main course ,it was both very delicious. For dessert we had sakura yuzu mochi also black sesame ice cream which wasn't exactly my taste, but it tasted like it looked: extraordinary! Ps: The staff was very polite friendly :
Had their ramen before which made me come back a second time. Unfortunately their beef curry was a real disappointment it was 3 4 small pieces of chunky chewy beef(not sure how they expect you to eat it with a spoon) dipped in sauce and a lot of tasteless rice. I won’t be back.
The menu is a bit different to Miki's but the only real difference is you can make a reservation here! The booth spaces are especially cute.
The food is fantastic, as is the ambience. The service can still be improved.
