Il Caminetto - Table reservation

Redemption our family decided to give Il Caminetto another chance without notice as this restaurant had been a convenient stop in the village. We had a very good meal. Among the favorites, both the steak and lobster pastas were excellent. Moreover, the service was very good, attentive and multiple course pacing was timely. We will be back in November. Rating adjusted upward original review . Although the specials are good value , we waited over 40 minutes for the mains, 4 pasta rigatonis simple? and one medium steak that arrived medium rare very pink , only warm at best . Table next to us , that arrived one course after, received their entrees before us ; we asked our server after 30 minutes...

I’ve been to this place three times in the last year and each time it gets better. Probably the best Italian restaurant in Whistler and easily top 3 restaurants overall in the area. Special shout-out to our server Henry who was simply amazing and his energies were top class. Lovely experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
