Even though the waiter tried to make the situation nice by being friendly, it was clear that he and the entire restaurant were completely overwhelmed. It 's difficult to write about the food because there wasn 't anything that was good! Overpriced for portions that were a disgrace (starter! , then pizzas that didn 't deserve this name! Not through, the topping only shined with fat or oil... Then the top hammer with the garlic spagetti... You can hardly get it more careless and bland! With all due respect, but that was one of the worst restaurants I visited between Bregenz and Vienna in Austria. We (5 people were more than disappointed and will definitely not be coming back! Allein wegen den sympathischen Inhabern würde ich extra Sterne geben. Nachdem wir vom L'Osteria gegenüber zwei Mal weggeschickt wurden, obwohl sie einige leere Tische hatten, gingen wir spontan zum Il Centro. Dort waren alle Tische belegt und 2 freie mit Reservierung gekennzeichnet. Dennoch schaffte das Il Centro für uns einen Platz, wofür wir sehr sehr dankbar waren. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet und so herzlich sowie aufmerksam. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt : Nun zum Wichtigsten Das Essen: Haben eine Fischplatte für zwei genossen und ja.. was soll man sagen.. haben uns wie im Urlaub gefühlt. (Siehe Bilder Köstlich und auch reichlich. Gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!
It was ok, don't want to demonize it. But there is a need for action. Starter Vitello tonnato was out, ok, he brings antipasti ok. Then comes a plate with regional sausage, cheese etc but without a piece of bread. OK, he thought. The pizzas from the dough are great, really great. The topping wasn't what we ordered and it was bland. All in all, it's a real shame, there's potential there. Habe letztens im IlCentro gegessen und bin wirklich froh, das Restaurant entdeckt zu haben! Hatte auf Empfehlung Lachs in Eierschwammerlsauce und Ravioli, später ein überbackenes Eis als Dessert. Dem Eis gegenüber war ich anfangs skeptisch, doch ich wurde positiv überrascht. Der Hauptgang war wirklich lecker, mich hat es gefreut, dass sie auch saisonale Gerichte anbieten. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!! Freue mich auf den nächsten Besuch! :

There were 10 people in our group and so finding space in central Graz was difficult. It Centro were perfectly accommodating bringing together and number of tables so we all sat together. Good choice of food including most of us being vegetarians. Decent prices for this location. Booked again another evening same experience.
The pizza dough was too salty and the topping was quite greasy, I felt sick afterward. A dish was forgotten, maybe they didn't have any left. We had difficulty understanding each other with the waiter, neither in English nor with our basic German. We were quite disappointed with our meal. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
This restaurant is in a good outdoor location in the centre of the old town in Graz. There are lots of other restaurants nearby and the area has a good atmosphere. The pizza was excellent and the spaghetti with clams was good. Service was fast and efficient and prices were reasonable.
Sehr gemütliches italienisches Ristorante mit sehr schönem Gastgarten in herrlicher Location mitten in der Grazer Altstadt! Pizza, Pasta Risotto sind allesamt köstlich! Dasselbe gilt für die Profiteroles! Das Personal ist top professionell sehr (Kinder-)freundlich!
