This was my first visit at "il Mondo" in Aschersleben. We were a party of six and had booked a table beforehand. First of all: the restaurant itself is quite nice, but the service is suboptimal. We waited for more then an hour for our food. When we asked the waiter about the remaining waiting time the answer was a smug smile and something like "We are doing everything to satisfy our costumers... bla bla" (which was obviously not the fact).The food itself was good, but nothing which I would have connected with Italian cousine. on 6.5.22 we were the first time in the restaurant. service in the outside did not go, completely overwhelmed and not interested in the customer, harm the rest was good, but will no longer visit the restaurant, good service is very important for me and for business of course also. You should feel comfortable when you go to the restaurant. the first impression counts now.
Is one os the most frequented restaurants of Aschersleben, the cooking is good (obiously if you are italian you have to avoid Pizza...) but specially fish is really well done!!!What is not special is the speed of the service: slow, too slow even with few people inside you wait for tens of minutes.So, visit it just if you're not hurry....
eating is not only delicious, even what auge 1a garnishes! the entire facility is very well maintained so that they can feel immediately. However, they must bring much gieduld until they are served. we would have stayed longer, but with empty glasses it doesn't make fun, sad.

After we had ordered, we had to wait 40min eh our 3 year-old enkel got his nudels and then again for 10 min for our food.This was waited for 50 min for eating and it wasn't even full.After I spoke the waitress on it, no apologise came to let alone a bonus.
I've eaten at this restaurant several times when in Aschersleben. It's the same every time. Very good food that takes forever to get......So if you have a big group that doesn't mind waiting, then go for it....

.super beautiful location...very nice and accommodating staff...the best calzone I have eaten in the German-speaking area so far.

Food is not really Italian and it's not German: pizza is terrible! Pasta was over cooked! The wine was good!
