'il pastaro' is a small - really small - Italian family business. the restaurant has been there for 20 years. it's been to me personally since approx. 14 years known and I always like to go there although I have been living in düsseldorf for a few years. the restaurant may have 6 tables in a cozy, rustic ambiente. the kitchen is open and visible. also the appetizers in a virtine / theke that separates the restaurant from the kitchen. here is all 100% fresh. convinience will be in vain here. the card is not huge, but offers enough choice. Overall, I haven't taken a court to myself, which would have disappointed me. some dishes, on the other hand, I have never eaten better elsewhere. the prize...

I can join my pre-evaluators, we had chosen the daily offer and a pizza and were not disappointed. Italian cuisine prepared in front of the eyes of the hospitable. the locality- a former metzgerei- is simple and reflects the claim of a trattoria in italian sinne. the environment unfortunately not a hang-out sign for eating but in the immediate vicinity of the a40, the trattoria is also worthwhile for the outside gast- except of course as always the 5-star snob.

best salat and best dressing. pizza also good. real italians who can occupy more than teig. always up-to-date daily dishes beaten in front of location.

the open kitchen informs guests what is being cooked. there is always a seasonal special card. rustikales ambiente on a traffic-rich road.
