Wir waren zu Viert zum Mittagessen. Das Lokal war gut besucht. Die Gerichte Nudeln mit Steinpilzen, Fisch, waren phantasielos und trocken (Fisch). Das Heftigste was wir erlebt haben, war die Teilnahmslosigkeit des Servicepersonals: Als zum Beispiel der Salat kam wurde der Teller im Vorbeigehen wie zufällig abgestellt ohne kurz stehen zu bleiben, ohne Kommentar etc. einfach auf den Tisch gestellt. Bäng! Wir waren sprachlos und haben uns nur angeschaut! Es ging in ähnlichem Stil weiter und beim Verlassen des Lokals wurde logischer Weise nicht gegrüßt. Ich muss dazusagen, dass wir keinerlei Gespräche oder Diskussionen mit dem Personal hatten. Völlig unverständlich wie hier mit Gästen umgegangen...
I have eaten in il porcino taking into consideration the recommendations on trip advisor. first I noticed that the terrace had tables and chairs made of plastic. Now that we were in augsburg the second time and had no idea where we should eat, we decided to go the first instinct and stay for dinner. we ordered that food came quite fast, but it was a disappointment? the pasta had no taste and was soaked in sawn, the bruschetti were rock hard and the brokkoli was too little cooked and just as the pasta looked full. I wouldn't recommend this place, even if many people were there. but usually eat simple meal or pizza. the personal does not speak English at all and the menu is Italian and German.

Il Porcino is an above average italian restaurant located nearby the University. We eat there very often, because the quality of food is good, the prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Pizza is real italian style thin and crispy and...of course you can see, when your pizza is made . Tables are covered with white linen and and with napkins (real napkins cloth, not paper). During the summer months they have alfresco dining. Pizza starts from 5 €, Pasta from 5,50 €. They charge reasonable prices for beverages.

Ich kann die ganzen guten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Evtl. war das Restaurant früher mal gut oder hatte einen anderen Eigentümer. Ich hingegen fand dieses Restaurant-Erlebnis einfach nur unterirdisch. Das Essen ist max. Imbiss-Niveau, ebenso die Bedienung und das Interieur. Die Toiletten haben noch nie einen Wischmob gesehen und Seife gab es auch keine. Das Restaurant, im Univiertel gelegen, ist ggf. eine kleine Abwechslung zum Mensa-Essen für die Studenten und dafür ist es auch schon wieder zu teuer.

we had our Christmas party here in this beautiful Italian restaurant. I had the risotto and for 6,80 € I had not expected much, but it was absolutely delicious and good value for money. the ambiente and the facility were on the square. all my friends enjoyed theirs. no bad choice in the menu. Many thanks to all in the restaurant, would definitely recommend going.
When we arrived in augsburg on Sunday night, everything was closed in the opposite where we were, but a local showed us at this restaurant. we ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine. the pizzas were very good and the prices were...reasonable to enjoy

located right next to the university, it is an ideal place with ideal trips! the staff is very friendly and very attentive, for the price is eating very well with quite large portions to say. would recommend definitley and would go...back
waren heute enttäuscht das Nudelgericht war sehr lieblos angerichtet nur schnell warm gemacht. Kein Unterschied zu einem Fastfood Lokal nur teurer.
