This was once just a pool bar with snacks, which was converted to a restaurant by the former owner Klaus, of the excellent German restaurant Galleria, which had closed due to site redevelopment. Big improvements were made to bring it to restaurant standard. Meanwhile, the early closing and limited menu never worked. Ownership changed and Veliero was born after the pandemic. Dirty and dusty place, no one say sorry to my boy for make the wrong pizza , and the pasta of my wife was could, they just say “we are Italian” but I think they don’t understand me, no one speak English or german) The cook was smoking sitting at the bar all night , the restaurant was empty I understand too late why)
Having tried more than pizza this stay we were very impressed with the excellent food and look forward to working our way through the menu more next time! The quality of the food easily matches some of the more expensive restaurants locally and the service is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend you give it a try
Worth giving this little place a try! The staff are very friendly, the beer is good and a good price and the pizzas are really good. Located alongside the pool at Bahia Calma apartments its ideal for any time of day from breakfast to supper! Takeaway pizzas too!

We keep returning here again and again as the food is great and great prices for both food and drinks!! Pizzas are so tasty and better value than anywhere else, Gambas and pasta dishes great too! Staff are very welcoming and happy to adjust menu items if asked.
The food was excellent, but the waiting staff unfortunately sent all their comments to the man I was with and was confused that I would order a beer as a woman and that I would pay! It was very noticeable to the point my date and I was quite uncomfortable.
Very nice and clean ambient. Friendly staff. Although the preferred dish was not available, the alternative proposed and taken was more than satisfying. Fair price.
My guests were not before and agreed that the Lamb Methi was the best they ever had. Welcome is always warm. The wines are inexpensive and the food quality is high
